COVID Test Center Management System

During the COVID pandemic, many COVID testing clinics were established to meet test demands. Our clients involved such clinics.

Problem

Our clients had to keep up with the unpredictable influx of patients every day for tests and manually tracking documents and operations to share with the government as per regulations. Clinics also had to meet strict privacy requirements for the patient data, without allowing external access to their network and database.

Before reaching out to us, our clients had custom applications in place but they had their own problems. They were:

• difficult and slow to use to accommodate advanced searching through the records
• daily, plenty of tasks were still performed manually such as creating documents for the government and tracking patient results

Solution

Over a short span of 3 months, we developed a smooth and intuitive software to track patient records, automate workflows such as report-generation for both government and clinic analytics. We also added the feature to search the data with advanced queries to glean further information from the records.

To meet privacy requirements, we set up the applicationa on local clinic servers. This ensured only local personnel could access the data.

By quickly developing an application after understanding client requirements, we helped COVID testing clinics get through the pandemic while testing more patients, synchronizing personnel presence by understanding patterns in patient traffic, and focusing on their business needs instead of wasting hundreds of employee hours over repetitive and long tasks.
